Restrictions reinstated after temporary suspension

Traffic access restrictions in Grove Park are now back in place after a temporary suspension.

The restrictions were suspended temporarily due to increased congestion caused by emergency utility works around Hogarth Roundabout.

As a result, the South Chiswick Liveable Neighbourhood restrictions on Hartington Road, Staveley Road, and Thames Road/Strand on the Green has not been enforced since Thursday 14 June June.

Additional congestion in the Grove Park area due to Thames Water works on Thames Road has also caused traffic to be diverted to Pyrmont and Geraldine Roads.

Earlier in the month, emergency gasworks on Burlington Lane near the junction with Caxton Road led to longer than usual tailbacks on the northbound A316, although this work is now complete.

Restrictions are in effect again now from 8am to 7pm (Mondays to Saturdays) except for buses and permit holders.
