Can you make a difference to someone living with dementia?
When someone is diagnosed with dementia, they often face loneliness and isolation.
The Alzheimer’s Society has a band of Side-by-Side volunteers who visit them at home, or escort them to activities they love.
Can you spare two hours a week to help? The Alzheimer’s Society provides full-training and support.
Urgently needed
The society is seeking new volunteers in Chiswick but have a specific request for someone who would like to escort a lady near the Chiswick Riverside to their Singing for the Brain group at Osterley on a Monday lunchtime. It’s a great fun group and the volunteer would get a lot out of it as well.
They are also in need of Urdu and Eastern Farsi speakers.
