ArtsEd is one of the UK’s leading centres of conservatoire education, providing world-class vocational training in the performing arts to talented young people from right across the UK. ArtsEd Day School & Sixth Form enjoys a consistent position as the most academically successful performing arts school in the UK. Students on ArtsEd degree courses (18+) enjoy outstanding training in acting, singing and dancing, going on to enjoy great success on stage and on screen.

ArtsEd President is Andrew Lloyd Webber, with Sharon D Clarke and David Grindrod as Vice Presidents. Associate artists include Sir Matthew Bourne, Janie Dee, Sir Trevor Nunn and Bonnie Langford. Amongst ArtsEd recent alumni are Lashana Lynch (No Time to Die, Matilda The Musical), Leo Woodall (White Lotus), Miriam-Teak Lee (&Juliet, Hamilton) and Jac Yarrow (Joseph & His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat). Alumni also include Dames Angela Lansbury and Julie Andrews, Cherie Lunghi, Nigel Havers, Bonnie Langford as well as Darcey Bussell and Martin Clunes.

ArtsEd Day School & Sixth Form and the Degree School (which offers BA, MA and Foundation courses in Acting and Musical Theatre) are centres of excellence, turning out a stream of extremely talented, high-achieving performers who are quickly becoming stars of screen and stage.

Lashana Lynch, Jac Yarrow, Amara Okereke and Isabella Pappas

Lashana Lynch, who graduated in 2010, has enjoyed a wonderful career since completing her degree, a BA (Hons) in Acting. She played 007 alongside Daniel Craig in No Time to Die, quickly followed by the central role of Miss Honey in Matilda, The Musical. Jac Yarrow went straight from finishing his degree into the lead part in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Palladium. Amara Okereke debuted in Les Miserables, for which she won Best Actress in a Musical at The Stage Debut Awards. She then went straight on to Oklahoma at Chichester Festival Theatre, followed by Spring Awakening at the Almeida. Her most recent stage role was as Eliza in the ENO’s production of My Fair Lady. Sixth Form alumni include Isabella Pappas, who whilst still at school, was nominated for an Oliver Award (Best Supporting Actress in The Nether). She was also a What’s On Stage Award Nominee for her role in Appropriate at the Donmar Warehouse and is currently starring in the Disney show The Villians of Valley View.

ArtsEd is one of the UK’s leading providers of degree-level conservatoire education. The School of Musical Theatre and the School of Acting offer full-time BA and MA courses (validated by City, University of London) to 270 students from across the UK. Their musical theatre courses are renowned for producing graduates who are equally highly accomplished in acting, singing and dancing, whilst their acting training is noted for nurturing graduates who are able to compete right across the sector in theatre, film, television and radio.

The public is also invited to watch the results of their labours. In all three academic terms the Schools of Acting and Musical Theatre put on shows, which often sell out very quickly as people in Chiswick know they will see a West End standard of production and may be witnessing the launch of a future star.
