ArtsEd puts on a special performance of Our Town for Chiswick residents

Local residents can see the ArtsEd students’ production for £10, with drinks and nibbles included before the show

ArtsEd is putting on a special performance of Our Town next month just for its Chiswick neighbours, with tickets including drinks and nibbles before the show.

The Chiswick performance will take place on Thursday 1 October, as part of ArtsEd’s production of Thornton Wilder’s Our Town, which runs from 29 September to 2 October at its Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Theatre.

For the rest of the run, tickets are £15 or £8. But for the 7pm 1 October performance, ArtsEd is offering local residents tickets for £10, including a pre show reception from 6pm.

The school says the evening is a chance to welcome its neighbours and celebrate its place in the Chiswick community.

Our Town is a Pulitzer Prize winning play set in the fictional American town of Grover’s Corners, following its residents through everyday life, love, marriage and death. ArtsEd’s production is directed by Sarah Frankcom and performed by students from its BA Acting course.

ArtsEd has been based at 14 Bath Road since 1986, making it a long established part of the local area.

Tickets for the special Chiswick performance are on sale now. To book, visit the ArtsEd What’s On page and select the ‘Our Town Chiswick’ ticket option, using the password W40110. You can also access the ticket sales page here.

The performance is on Thursday 1 October, with the reception from 6pm. Tickets cost £10 per person, including drinks and nibbles.
