The Bedford Park Festival is returning in June 2021 with live in-person events. We have some stunning musicians who live locally and have become regulars at the festival. Soprano Milly Forrest and virtuoso violinist David Juritz will be playing.
No Green Days but there will be a smaller church fete and you will be able to go and see the Summer Exhibition and Photography exhibition in person again this year, as well as online on The Chiswick Calendar.
This year’s festival will open on Saturday 12 June with a day of readings, craft activities and creative movement for children. Soprano Milly Forrest and Ian Tindale give a recital on Wednesday 16 June.

Journalist Charles Sale gives an interview on 17 June and Jonathan Dods an organ recital on 18 June. David Juritz’ concert is on Saturday 19 and An evening with Chiswick Book festival director Torin Douglas at Chiswick Playhouse is on 21 June. As BBC media correspondent for 24 years, Torin covered many major stories on TV & radio. He’ll discuss this, and W4 community life, with Chiswick Playhouse’s director, Mark Perry.
The second week sees Rosie Ashe – An Evening with Dora Bryan and recitals by pianist Mark Viner and soprano Luci de Nordwall Cornish. Luci’s evening will be loosely themed around night and the morning after. Songs by Brahms, Faure, Gershwin, Porter, Rodgers and Hart, Schubert, and Clara Schumann, featuring two poems by John Betjeman set by Madeleine Dring.

Drama is also represented in the programme by a presentation of Hauntings on 25 June with Gerard Logan.

This year the Photography exhibition will be over the middle weekend of the festival, on 19 and 20 June. Details of how to take part to be published on this website soon.
This year’s Bedford Park Festival will also have wine tasting and a flower festival. There will also be a chance to have a look round some of Bedford Park’s beautiful gardens again this year.
