Bedford Park Festival – Green Days

The opening weekend of the Bedford Park Festival

The Bedford Park Festival is a two week arts and community festival which takes place early in June. The opening weekend, Green Days, is the St Michael & All Angels Church summer fete on Acton Green, which has grown into a two day festival all of itself, attracting thousands of people. Always opened by a local celebrity, there are craft stalls, live music, games for children, a fun fair, the beer tent, food stalls …

To see our archive of videos shot at Green Days, with interviews with local celebrities – actor Phyllis Logan, singer-songwriter Sophie Ellis-Bextor, former Children’s TV presenter Sarah Greene, and others – see our Bedford Park Festival videos.

50 years of Green Days

In 2017 the Bedford Park Festival celebrated its 50 year anniversary, documented in photographs. Thanks to St Michael & All Angels Church for use of the images. You can read Torin Douglas’ piece on the history of the Festival here.
