Father Christmas spotted dancing in Chiswick

Father Christmas visited Chiswick on Sunday and was even spotted dancing. The Brass United Social Club were brilliant and he was not the only one jigging about. They had two slots in between the seven children’s choirs, Chiswick Rock choir and the West London Choir, giving it their all.

The flower market team decorated the Ginkgo tree in front of the former police station with festive lights and giant baubles made by the children of Chiswick School. They also sold buckets of foliage from Chiswick House to help raise funds for them.

Ollie Saunders of Chiswick Flower Market said:

“The market was our biggest ever, with a large line-up of traders who brought a festive selection of British grown plants and flowers, including some beautiful wreaths which sold like hot chestnuts!”

Together with the vegan market they reckon they had 10,000 visitors.

The next flower market will be on Sunday 5 February. Meanwhile see if you can spot yourself or people you know in Anna Kunst’s photographs.
