Road closures around Holland Park cause traffic jams on the Westway and Uxbridge Road

A burst water main at Holland Park has caused flooding and traffic chaos as a number of roads have been closed.

Thames Water say they have the flooding under control now but there are major delays on the roads around west London. Holland Park Avenue is partially closed in both directions, between Princedale Road and the Holland Park Roundabout, and the easterm part of the roundabout is also closed.

Also closed to vehicles: A3220 West Cross Route between the Northern Roundabout and the Holland Park Roundabout, which is having an effect on the Westway, causing tailbacks.

Traffic is very slow moving on the Uxbridge Road.

Although they said they had stopped the glooding, water could still be seen cascading down Holland Park Avenue at 11.15am.
