Cadent Gas roadworks affects buses and drivers in Goldhawk Road

Roadworks from Sunday 3 August lasting five weeks

Cadent Gas workers are upgrading the pipes in the short stretch of Goldhawk Road between the Askew Road mini-roundabout and the end of the parade of shops opposite the junction with Paddenswick Road.

The roadworks, outside The Oak pub, are expected to last five weeks.

Three-way lights will operate, the bus lane will shut, and four bus stops – ST, SH, SC and SX – will be suspended.

Hammersmith & Fulham Council say they will closely monitor the works and are urging the gas company to complete the roadworks as quickly as possible, because there is likely to be a serious effect on traffic in the area.
