Vacant building to be demolished
A planning application has been submitted on behalf of Hounslow Council to turn the garage block adjacent to Cherwell Court on Grove Park Road into social housing.
The application is seeking permission to demolish the existing garages, which are currently vacant, and construct a two storey building which would provide two one bedroom residential dwellings for social rent.
No pictures are provided with the application of the proposed new structure, but the company Kendal Kingscott will be in charge of the build. They have designed and built various public buildings including primary schools and health centres, as well as residential projects.
If approved, building works would commence in February 2023 with works expected to be complete by December. It is expected that the development would cost up to £2m.
