Free valuation day on 28 April

Chiswick Auctions is inviting owners of luxury goods to its free valuation day on Friday 28 April at the auction rooms in Barley Mow Passage.

The auction house is looking for designer handbags, jewellery, and wristwatches, which are particularly strong in the current market.

Specialists will be available to evaluate the items between 2-7.00pm, and no appointment is necessary. Any goods consigned for sale will be featured in Chiswick Auctions’ Luxury Week in June.

The auctioneers say:

“The luxury goods sector is experiencing a purple patch, with designer goods from top French ateliers and vintage or newly-issued branded watches commanding high prices at auction.”

Chiswick Auctions’ jewellery specialists are particularly interested in blue chip makers such as Cartier, Van Cleef and Arpels, Tiffany, and Boucheron, along with natural coloured gemstones that can fetch surprising sums.
