Chiswick Silver Swans, which runs ballet classes for adults aged 55 and over at the Age Concern Hall on Oxford Road North, is offering one lucky reader five free classes, worth £75.

Part of the Royal Academy of Dancing’s lifelong learning programme, Silver Swans has been running in Chiswick since 2018.

Classes are designed for anyone who would like to learn ballet from scratch, or return to dancing after a long break, in a relaxed and supportive setting. Sessions are taught by a RAD-registered teacher and Silver Swans licensee.

As much about balance, coordination and brain agility as fitness, it is the kind of thing many people mean to try but never quite get round to. This is a good excuse.

Classes run on Saturdays from 11am to noon and Tuesdays from 2pm to 3pm, at £15 per class.
