Chiswick Cinema Comedy Club is back!

Chiswick Cinema comedy club returns: Wednesday June 26

Chiswick Cinema welcome back their stand-up comedy club and they’ve put together a great night featuring some of the most outstanding comedians touring the circuit today. This month’s club features Javier Jarquin, Alexander Bennett, Susan Murray and headlined by non-other than Nathan Caton!

18+ only, Line up is subject to change

Nathan Caton

Award Winning Nathan Caton is one of the most exciting young comedians on the scene. Gigging since the tender age of 19, over the last decade he has established himself both as a circuit headliner, and a name on TV and radio. Within his first few years on stage, he had picked up various accolades and coveted plaudits including the Chortle Student Comic of the Year award and Broadcast Hotshot and written and starred in a pilot for Paramount Comedy (now Comedy Central) entitled The Nathan Caton Show.

Within his first few years on stage, he had picked up various accolades and coveted plaudits including the Chortle Student Comic of the Year award and Broadcast Hotshot and written and starred in a pilot for Paramount Comedy (now Comedy Central) entitled The Nathan Caton Show. Since then Caton has gone from strength to strength, wowing audiences at comedy clubs up and down the UK, and on his numerous TV and radio appearances, with his delightfully charming blend of personal and political comedy.

Susan Murray

This black country lass takes no prisoners with her irreverent, close to the knuckle and honest humour. Susan Murray will have you laughing well into the next millennium with her razor sharp cynicism. Funny, cheeky, in your face, sometimes surreal and always a bit twisted.

Javier Jarquin

Javier Jarquin is an extremely experienced and highly respected, multi-skilled performer. Having performed his critically acclaimed show Card Ninja in 27 territories, Javier has established himself as a masterful entertainer. Javier was raised in New Zealand with Latin-American/Chinese parents, and skilfully weaves his unique perspective into every performance and delivers sharply executed insights on life as an immigrant.

In addition, Javier’s joke rate is something to be envious of, a witty quick-hitter. The perfect all-round entertainer with an abundance of skill, comedic flair and excessive likability, Javier is one to watch.

Alexander Bennett

Alexander Bennett’s comedy has been variously described as dark, silly, filthy andt houghtful. He has numerous Edinburgh Fringe runs under his belt, has filmed several stand up specials and he created the cult hit comedy game show Hell To Play. He has recently started his new podcast Born Yesterday with comedian Andy Barr.

He was a key player in Mark Watson’s Comedy Marathon, was nominated at the Leicester Comedy Awards as part of Consignia and co-orchestrated a huge charity event at the Pleasance Grand in Edinburgh called Dan Vs Food, in which a cast of 25+ comedians(including Phil Wang, Ed Gamble, Iain Stirling, Nick Helm, Sophie Duker and Ivo Graham)watched a man called Dan eat his lunch. He has recently appeared on Radio 4 and The Comedian’s Comedian podcast.
