Inventive and original Indian food using the best local and seasonal ingredients
Head Chef, Kuldeep Mattegunta, uses seasonal British ingredients to produce Indian, street style, small plates which can be paired with natural wines or special cocktails using their spices.
“Our food and drink menu is seasonal so it will change quite often,” says Maître d’ Mustaq Tappewale.
Republic is their first restaurant together, though they worked together before at Kricket, a group of modern Indian fusion restaurants around the trendier parts of London. The food is fantastic. Kuldeep worked in several Michelin starred restaurants before opening Republic with Mustaq.
