‘The largest number of British‑grown flower sellers and farmers of any market in London’

Chiswick Flower Market is to host its largest line up of British growers yet at the next market on Sunday 7 June.

As the RHS Chelsea Flower Show wraps up for another year, Chiswick Flower Market continues the buzz with its most impressive horticultural showcase yet, say its directors.

With more than 45 traders, including the largest number of British‑grown flower sellers and farmers of any market in London, the event has become the capital’s leading destination for home‑grown blooms, expert growers, and British horticulture, they say.

More than 20 flower farmers come to Chiswick, enabling visitors to buy flowers directly from the farmer who cut them the night before.

This year’s June market will also welcome the Plant Fair Roadshow, a collective of specialist nurseries known for rare and unusual plants typically seen at major RHS events, including collector plants, shade‑lovers, exotics, and hard‑to‑find perennials.

“With Chelsea ending just days before, visitors can turn show‑garden inspiration into reality by buying directly from growers at accessible prices”, said Ollie Saunders, one of the market’s directors.

The market also has stalls with artisan makers selling handcrafted pots, botanical prints, and garden accessories. And it has buskers, “whose performances help create the renowned Chiswick Flower Market vibe”, says Ollie — “a warm, bustling, London energy that has become a signature part of the Chiswick experience”.

The market runs from 9.00am to 4.00pm at Old Market Place, Chiswick W4 on the first Sunday of every month.
