Chiswick Health Centre patients given date for move to Stamford Brook

Services relocated to Stamford Brook Centre in April 2023

Patients who use the three GP practices at Chiswick Health Centre have been given a date for the closure of the centre and relocation of its services to Stamford Brook Centre.

The Chiswick Health Centre site is being redeveloped to provide a new centre which the NHS in North West London say will improve healthcare services for thousands of local residents.

There will also be 55 new homes for NHS keyworkers included in the new development.

New centre will be “modern, accessible and comfortable”

North West London Integrated Care System and NHS Property Services are working in partnership with London Borough of Hounslow to develop the new Chiswick Health Centre in response to increased demand for health and social care services, due both to the increase in population and the ageing of the population.

They say the new centre will be a big improvement on the existing one, that it will be: “modern, accessible and comfortable, ensuring the best experience for patients and staff.”

Patients who use West4GPs, Chiswick Health Practice and Chiswick Family Doctor’s Practice should all be receiving a letter with the news that the move to Stamford Brook Centre, as a temporary measure until the new centre is built, will take place on 17 April.
