Chiswick House plant sale

Chiswick House & Gardens Trust is holding a plant sale next week (Monday 15 – Friday 19 June – every day except Thursday) to raise funds for the maintenance of the house and grounds.

Having lost all this year’s revenue from weddings and other commercial events, they need to raise £120,000 by September to keep the beautiful gardens maintained, clean and safe for the public to use. So far they have raised £25,000 towards their goal. Now they’re selling off hundreds of plants they’ve grown for events which are no longer happening, to raise a bit more cash.

Pay £5 to book a timed slot to go and see what they have available. Your £5 buys you a small complementary pelargonium as a token of the gardeners’ appreciation, and the opportunity to buy more plants.

These are some of the plants they have for sale, though as the week goes on, you may find some have sold out. Plants will have a suggested donation price ranging from £5 to £15 depending on the size and variety. For full information and how to book your time slot please go to the Chiswick House & Gardens Trust website.

Collection will be from the Conservatory.

If you don’t want or need plants but would like to support Chiswick House & Gardens, simply text LOVE to 70450 to donate £5 or go online to to donate any amount.
