Chiswick School celebrates ‘another year of outstanding academic success’

Chiswick School is celebrating ‘another year of outstanding academic success’, with student attainment at GCSE once again surpassing national averages.

‘Students demonstrated impressive achievements across a wide range of subjects’, a spokeswoman for the school said, ‘reflecting the school’s dedication to high academic standards’.

Nearly a third of student entries (30%) were awarded top marks at grades 9–7. More than half of students in History, Science and Religious Studies achieved Grades 9–7 and the school is expecting its Maths and English results to exceed national averages.

Last week they were celebrating ‘fantastic’ A Level results and many of the students will be going into the sixth form to continue their academic journey, as it continues to grow in both size and reputation.

The school prides itself in being genuinely inclusive.

‘Alongside these scholarly successes’, they say, ‘Chiswick School continues to foster the broader personal development of its students within a supportive, inclusive, and enriching environment’.

Last year Ofsted inspectors praised the ‘exceptional level of care and support’ provided to students, as well as the ‘curiosity and enthusiasm’ shown by students in lessons.

The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation describes the results nationally as ‘stable overall in comparison with those in 2025’.

Overall outcomes at grade 7 and above are almost identical to 2025 (21.8% of results compared with 21.7% in 2025), and outcomes at grade 4 and above are just 0.1 percentage point down on 2025, at 67.0%.

Like last year, more results were issued in London at grade 4 and above (71.7%) and grade 7 and above (28.6%) than in any other region.
