Over recent years Sara Ward and her family have transformed their Victorian terrace house in Brentford into an urban smallholding allowing them to have the best of both worlds.
They are living the good life complete with 22 hens, three colonies of honey bees, a fruitful kitchen garden and a micro bakery which is making up to 100 loaves of bread each Friday along with hundreds of sticky buns, cakes and savoury treats.
Sara offers a range of courses as well as selling her homemade fare, giving good advice on how to be that little bit more self sufficient.
