Join artist Jonathan Wright and author of ‘The Kit Cat Club’ Ophelia Field for a contemporary take on the 18th century Pie Banquet.
In the 1700s Barn Elms Manor stood on the London Wetland Centre site. It was the home of publisher Jacob Tonson, founder and secretary of the Kit Cat Club, whose members were influential writers and politicians.
Enjoy a meat (steak) or a vegan ‘pie’ and a welcome drink in a specially engraved toasting glass whilst Ophelia Field and Jonathan Wright discuss the Banquets held by the Kit-Cat club and their infamous toasts to the beauties of the day.
