British soprano Ellie Laugharne is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Dra-ma and Birmingham University. She began her career as a Jerwood Young Artist at the Glyndebourne Festival and more recently was an Associate Artist for Opera North and a Company Artist for The Mozartists.
Ellie has recently returned from America having made her debut with the Philhar-monia Baroque Orchestra performing in a fully staged production of Handel’s Rad-amisto conducted by Richard Egarr and is just completed a successful run of per-formances at The Grange Festival performing the role of Elsie Maynard in The Yeo-man of the Guard.
