Bedford Park Festival – Wines from Volcanic Soils with Victoria Daskal

June 18

An Exploration of Wines from Volcanic Soils with Victoria Daskal Chiswick-based wine writer and judge, Victoria Daskal is returning to the Bedford Park Festival to host a tasting of the most fascinating wines produced from volcanic soils. Volcanic regions are renowned for their dramatic landscape, but they also create a remarkable terroir for producing outstanding wines with unique character.

Victoria has selected four fine wines from famous volcanic regions as far reaching as the Canary Islands to Sicily with some surprises in the mix to be explored together during an in-person wine event on Friday 18th June. All levels are welcome to this fun and educational wine tasting. Victoria will explain the basic steps of how to taste, discuss the grape varieties and volcanic origins of the chosen wines, and share food matching ideas.
