Outdoor flower market on Chiswick High Rd, the first Sunday of every month. Chiswick’s new flower market is already rivalling its East End counterpart in Columbia Rd. Traders sell cut flowers and live plants, bouquets, dried arrangements and plant accessories. Come here for your bedding plants, bulbs, houseplants and flowers.
Chiswick Flower Market is the first new flower market to be established in London for 150 years and is run by a group of volunteers who are local residents. The aim of Chiswick Flower Market CIC is to revitalize the economy of the High Rd.
The venue, the car park outside George IV pub, was the site of Chiswick’s first outdoor market, set up by soldiers returning from WW1 a hundred years ago. Since it first opened, in September 2020, the market has extended round the corner from Old Market Place into Devonshire Rd, enticing visitors to Chiswick’s many lovely independent shops, cafes and restaurants.
