Why not create your own unique, vintage inspired mini wreath out of hessian and upcycled fabrics?
Come along to Chiswick House and Gardens’ festive workshop and learn the traditional craft of rag rugging. Using hessian, an old-fashioned rag rugging tool and a combination of t-shirt material, old silks, ribbon and lots of other fabrics, you’ll learn how to design a wreath that you can use again and again.
During the workshop they’ll introduce you to the age-old technique of shaggy rag rugging and teach you how to cut the fabric strips, bind edges and finish your wreath.
The class is suitable for both beginners and people who’ve done some rag rugging before.
All materials and use of tools are included.
The class will be run by Ann and Catherine from Handmade Workshops.
£30 per person, limited to 16 people
