The Residents of Kelmscott House
From the inventor of the electric telegraph to a one hundred-year-old actress: the remarkable residents of William Morris’s Kelmscott House
In celebration of London Open House this month, the William Morris Society’s September talk will highlight the fascinating people who lived at Kelmscott House, linking with objects from the Society’s collection. Although William Morris was the most famous person to live at Kelmscott House, we’ll also cover the absorbing histories of the other inhabitants who called Kelmscott House ‘home’.
Join them as we discover the intriguing stories behind the residents of this famous riverside property.
Please note that ticket sales close at 9am on the day of the event. Your link to join the event will be sent to you by email shortly before the start.
They have a limited number of tickets for this event. If you make a booking but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking to allow another person to attend the talk. Thank you.
