Join The Pilot to make prints using traditional lino block carving.

You will be provided with lino cutting tools, an A5 block of lino, guidance, printing ink and A5 paper.

It is strongly advised to have a design in mind before the session, and bonus points if it’s printed out for easy tracing. Keep in mind that lino prints in reverse (like a stamp), so this is especially important if your design includes text. The less time you spend planning/carving, the more time you have to make prints.

The session will run for 2.5 hours, with a small buffer at the end for extra printing time if needed. You’ll go home with a set of your own hand-printed pieces, plus your lino block to keep creating with after the event.

And much like the life-drawing sessions, you can grab a drink from the bar.
