Going Bats in Chiswick! with Philip Briggs, Bat Conservation Trust

May 13 @ 7:00 pm8:30 pm BST

Bats live with us in our urban environments. They are mysterious and yet interesting creatures that help with plant pollination and the control of insects. Where can they be found in London/Chiswick? What species? Are they under threat? What can we do to help them?

Philip Briggs has offered to provide some answers! Philip developed an interest in bats through volunteering at the WWT London Wetland Centre, where he assists with regular bat surveys and bat walks. He is a member of London Bat Group and Dorset Bat Group and spends a lot of his spare time leading or assisting with surveys of London’s open spaces. He also leads the Richmond Bat Species Action Plan steering group which works to protect and enhance habitat and improve public engagement within the borough for bats.

This event is an online event taking place via Zoom.
