Gunnersbury Unlocked: From Private Grounds to Public Park’ is the first in a series of exhibitions that explore how the park has been used and enjoyed by the people who lived, worked and played here.

Help celebrate Gunnersbury Park’s 100 birthday. They’re excited to kick off this centenary year with a programme of activities and exhibitions. This is the first in a series of exhibitions that explore how it’s been used and enjoyed by the people who lived, worked and played within its grounds. From the days of the Rothschilds to a much-loved public park in the present, find out how the land was fought over by local Councils and how the park survived during the war.

Explore how Gunnersbury has brought sport, leisure, music, nature, and overall wellbeing to the local community. Hear from the voices of former employees, their families, and visitors to the park. The exhibition also features a very special ‘thinking tree’.
