RF Foster’s lecture concludes 2023’s celebration of the “local” London-Irish schoolboy who became one of the world’s best-loved poets.
To celebrate Yeats’ award of the Nobel Prize for Literature in Stockholm one hundred years ago on 10 December 1923, Professor Roy Foster will lecture on the poet & dramatist’s boyhood London neighbourhood of Chiswick (and the Yeats family’s parish church of St Michael & All Angels).
Hosted by Chiswick Book Festival, in aid of the WB Yeats Bedford Park Artwork Project.
