Francesca offers her own swinging neo-jazz repertoire and her special interpretation of Motown and soul classics
This is a real treat for those who have enjoyed Francesca Confortini’ s wonderful singing with the UK’s leading Gypsy Jazz & Swing ensemble, Trio Manouche.
Italian born Francesca is a highly versatile vocalist capable of moving between her own swinging neo-jazz repertoire and her special interpretation of Motown and soul classics. With a background in musical theatre and international experience as a session singer for the likes of Cat Stephens, this versatile and charismatic vocalist is hugely popular on the London music scene, performing at some of the capital’s top venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, the 606 Jazz Club and Wembley Stadium as well as being in demand at some of Europe’s jazz hot spots such as Monaco-Montecarlo’s Bar Americain and the Salumeria della Musica in Milan.
Together with a multi-talented international line-up including the celebrated Giulio Malaisi on guitar, along with noted pianist Chris Bland, top bassist Giovanni Cresseri and the acclaimed Daniele Antenucci on drums the evening promises to be a truly swinging affair not to be missed, with the exciting show mixing original tunes with contemporary classics and more!
