The brilliant Blues Engineers return to the Boston Room for another exciting night of jazz-tinged Urban & Country blues.
The Engineers have played with and supported some of the best in the business, including BB King, Peter Green, Bill Wyman’s Rhythm Kings, Roger Chapman, ex-Rolling Stone Mick Taylor and Jools Holland.
Vocalist and guitarist John O’Reilly is internationally acclaimed for his exciting slide and steel (resonator) guitar playing having worked extensively in Europe on the festival circuit with the band featuring at many prestigious events including the British Press Awards and West End Live.
Together with the multi-instrumentalist Nick Payn, on saxophone, flute, harmonica and backing vocals, their highly atmospheric repertoire covers an impressive range of funky blues classics as well as well as their own highly distinctive material. Blues with a feeling!
“Combining elements of Texas, funk and Latin, the Blues Engineers never fail to rouse and please their audience……“ Time Out Magazine
