Laurence on Morris Lecture – The National Liberal Club SW1

9 November @ 6:00 pm8:00 pm GMT

The William Morris Society presents the 2023 Kelmscott Lecture, ‘Laurence on Morris’ with Designer, TV presenter, and self-described “Morris Empath”, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen as this year’s speaker.

The lecture will look at William Morris’s profound influence on contemporary design and lifestyle, and more specifically, will dive into Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen’s own world of design and how the ethos of William Morris has inspired him for decades.

Whilst not an expert, LLB says he’s a Dyed-in-the-Wool (pun very much intended) William Morris Empath. Please note this will be a hybrid event, and streamed live for those with a virtual ticket, please pay attention to the appropriate ticket type when booking. ( Zoom link will be sent on the day of the event, a few hours prior.)

The William Morris Society is based at Morris’s final London home, Kelmscott House, Hammersmith, and is an international members society, museum and venue for lectures and other Morris-related events.
