Chiswick artist Liz Butler will be showing six of her paintings in an exhibition about a year in the life of the Chelsea Physic Garden.
Liz is a member of the Royal Watercolour Society, and you can see her Tulip and Peony images regularly, all over Chiswick on banners and posters on Chiswick Flower Maket days.
Chelsea Physic Garden asked a small group of artists from the Royal Watercolour Society and Royal Society of Painter Printmakers to record and respond to the Garden over a year of its life. Liz has been working on her six paintings, including the Olive tree, pictured above, over the previous 18 months throughout the pandemic.
The exhibition will be shown at Bankside Gallery, Thames Riverside, 48 Hopton Street, London, SE1 9JH (next to Tate Modern) from 12-30 August and will open daily from 11.00 am-6.00 pm.
