Experience the very best autumn has to offer on the WWT’s nature reserve.

Their warden will guide you around the wildlife reserve to see what’s about and give you tips on field-craft and bird ID. There are likely to be numerous migrant wading birds including black-tailed godwits, green sandpipers and greenshanks.

Wildlife surprises can include bearded tits and migrating merlins. As foliage disappears from the trees you can often get a better view of the reserve’s smaller birds too, such as Cetti’s warblers and long-tailed tits. They record over 180 species of bird each year, so you’re almost bound to see something exciting. Please bring your own binoculars/telescope to get the most out of the walk.
