Join London Terraniums at The Boston Room in The George IV for their ever popular Tinyjohn workshop. You will make your own Terrarium to take away and watch grow over the next few months and years, learning the history and science of these miniature ecosystems and how they survive so well on their own.
You will be making their Original Tinyjohn, h – 20cm, d – 11cm. They’ll start with a short introduction explaining the history and science that goes into building a terrarium, from the different plants you can use to why activated charcoal has become essential for us. Then it is up to you to get your hands in there and build your own!
They will supply you with a Tinyjohn Jar which you will fill with various Fittonia and Ivy and an arrangement of pebbles and moss.
All contents, jar’s and tools are supplied. They will send you home with a bag to pop your terrarium in and also a care guide with their details if you have any further questions.
They sterilise our tools before and after the workshop. The Boston Room at George IV is well ventilated and has washing facilities. You will be required to bring a mask to the workshop and they will provide hand sanitiser.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch prior to the workshop. Email them at email@example.com
