Take a stroll through the reedbeds, an area normally out of bound to visitors
The sight and sound of tall reeds swaying in the breeze is an inspiring and evocative part of your enjoyment of the British landscape.
Reedbeds are the ultimate wetland habitat; both fascinating and vital but often overlooked. Join the London Wetland Centre’s reserve warden as he takes you on a 30 minute walk into their reed beds – normally out of bounds to visitors – to explain about their management, the wildlife that they support and how humans have relied on them for thousands of years.
The ground may be damp and uneven, so please wear suitable footwear.
Meeting point: Courtyard Pagoda
Tickets
