This New Ground Collective presents Locked in (Our Lockdown Story), a short film creatively documenting the personal experiences and stories of people with learning disabilities in Hammersmith & Fulham throughout the the COVID-19 pandemic.
We know that the pandemic has had a disproportionate impact on the lives and mental health of disabled people. As we return to the new normal, what can we as a society do to ensure positive change in social care for people with Learning Disabilities. How can we support vulnerable members in our society to feel included and involved in decisions that affect them? This New Ground Collective pose these questions and share their unique perspective on this unprecedented moment in time.
