As the last rays of light are cast across Kew Gardens, the secrets of the plant world come into their own.
Discover the biodiversity of Britain’s hedgerow habitats through artist Vaughn Bell’s large Plantscape installation. Visit their late-night opening of the Galleries as they display the brightest natural colour found on Earth.
Whilst in an illuminated Temperate House, surround yourself with a hypnotic soundscape composed by Jason Singh using biodata – the electrical impulses emitted by plants. Or encounter pop-up performances of classical music inspired by nature on the Temperate House lawn and listen to our scientific experts.
Breathe in the heady scents of the rock roses in our bespoke outdoor installation, Please Be Seated. In an interactive session, learn more about the power and role of scent and botanical fragrances.
An evening walk through Kew Gardens wouldn’t be complete without an array of tasty plant-based snacks and botanical cocktails. Kew’s Pavilion Bar and Grill will be open into the evening for a sit-down dining experience amongst the trees. Reserve your table in advance when you book your ticket.
Please note, this event takes place in and around the Temperate House and will not have access to the rest of the Gardens.
