An evening of joyful, uplifting and reflective poetry chosen and read by the St Paul’s Poetry Group
St Paul’s Poetry Group started as an online community during the first Covid lockdown and has continued as a weekly online gathering ever since, sharing poems and prose on chosen themes.
Come and enjoy the humour of Pam Ayres and John Betjeman, the reflective wisdom of Milton and Herbert and the lyrical appreciation of nature invoked by Gerard Manley Hopkins and Dylan Thomas. Old favourites to savour and maybe some new delights to discover too.
There will be two short musical interludes from our resident organist and an interval with a bar.
