St Paul’s speakers will use old maps to show how the shape of the parish and family history resources, such as the Census, to introduce some of those who have lived there and worshipped at St Paul’s. The story of the church itself will show how it grew from a temporary building for a new suburb to the substantial building that stands today.
To discover the people of the parish, you will “meet” some of the clergy and see how the social mix of the community around the church has changed and grown over the 150 years of its history.
A Zoom link will be sent out on 16 June to all who have booked.
The talk is free but we would suggest a donation of £5 to St Paul’s Church. Details of how you can do this are on the church website.
