If you live in Hounslow, are 18 – 25, want to improve your chances of getting a job and curious about volunteering, Steam Team is for you!
London Museum of Water and Steam is pleased to bring back our youth volunteering programme, Steam Team, this summer.
Combining supported volunteering opportunities with employability skills workshops, the programme is designed to help young people in Hounslow develop skills and experience for their future careers.
Steam Team members can:
Gain experience and new skills through volunteering in a variety of roles
Learn more about career development and employee rights
Work with mentors to write a strong CV and cover letter
Practice interview techniques with local professionals
Find out more about local volunteering and training opportunities
The programme starts on 29 July and takes place on various Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until 28th August.
