The Life & Career of William Hartnell – Gunnersbury Park Museum

Jessica Carney shares stories about her grandfather, the original Doctor Who.

This exciting event marks the upcoming 60th anniversary of the long-running classic TV series, Doctor Who. The special guest, Jessica Carney, will share some stories about her famous grandfather, William Hartnell, the original Doctor Who.

She will describe how she researched his life for her book, ‘Who’s There?’ and she will include a few anecdotes form her wide experience as an acting agent. Before that, there is a chance to see some original props on display from Doctor Who and other Sci-Fi shows, with a guided tour of our new exhibition, Set to Stun.

Stay on after the talk for a free screening of the first ever Doctor Who episode ‘An Unearthly Child’ and please note seating will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
