Want to do some different activities with your kids this half-term? Come along and learn a new crafty natural indigo shibori dye skill!
Please bring some your old white cotton socks or old white t-shirt that you want to give it a new look!
In this two hours workshop, led by an indigo tie dye practitioner Yiran, you will learn different ways to fold and binding your fabric, to create your pattern areas by using elastic bands, cardboards, beads, chopsticks, coins and all the daily tools you can find. Then you can apply those techniques on your own socks or t-shirt, make it a unique design piece instead of boring white.
You will also use natural indigo dye for your pieces, which is made out of natural indigo plants. Say no to the harmful chemical dye !The amazing indigo blue will make your design perfect!
