The Upper Room Spring lectures – Jeremy Paxman

Jeremy Paxman is a renowned broadcaster, journalist and writer, feared by politicians of all stripes for his trademark tough interviewing style. He presented BBC Two’s Newsnight from 1989 to 2014 and has been the presenter of University Challenge since 1994.

His many books include Friends in High Places (1990), The English (1998), The Political Animal (2002), On Royalty (2006), Britain’s Great War (2013) and A Life in Questions (2016).

Jeremy will be in conversation with the BBC journalist Julian Marshall.
