Former West Ham defender receives £1,054 fine and a six-month driving ban
Former West Ham footballer Angelo Ogbonna has been banned from driving for six months for failing to give details of who was driving his car when it was caught on camera in Chiswick in an alleged traffic violation.
A Land Rover belonging to the Italian defender was flashed by a camera on the A316 Great Chertsey Road on 8 November 2024.
After he failed to give details of the driver to the police a month later and did not respond to two prosecution notices sent to his home address in Battersea, JPs at Lavender Hill Magistrates Court gave him six points and a £1,054 fine and a six-month driving ban.
Angelo Ogbonna has played for Torino and Juventus in Italy and West Ham and Watford in this country.
