Due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak in the UK all public tours to the Distillery have been cancelled. However, they are hoping to re-open the Distillery Tours as soon as possible and are working to make sure this is done in accordance with the Government’s regulations for your safety. At the moment, the earliest they are looking to open the Distillery Gates to Tour Guests is mid-October.

Free tour of Sipsmith’s distillery – choose a week night to suit you

Wherever you go in Chiswick, prominently displayed in bars and off licences are bottles of Sipsmith gin with their elegant and prettily designed labels depicting a swan and juniper berries. Tucked away in Cranbrook Rd, off Chiswick High Rd and Chiswick Lane, the Sipsmith distillery is fascinating to visit.

You get to meet the Sipsmith ‘girls’: Prudence, the first copper still to launch in London for nearly 200 years and her sisters Patience and Constance. A Sipsmith guide explains the traditional process by which they make their distinctive gin and vodka.

Sipsmith have been part of the Club Card scheme since it started in the summer of 2015. Until recently they have designated specific nights as Club Card nights with free tours of the distillery (for which they usually charge £25) available only on those nights.

Now we are very pleased to say you can go at any time. You can only do the free tour once, go a second time and you will have to pay, but if you haven’t yet been, it’s a really interesting experience and they ply you with gin throughout.
