Chiswick based pub chain announces £30m investment as profits rise by 28%

The Chiswick based pub chain Fuller’s has reported a 28% increase in adjusted pre-tax profit to £34.6m for the 52 weeks to 28 March 2026, alongside a 4.9% rise in like-for-like sales across its managed estate.

Publishing its annual results today, Fuller, Smith & Turner P.L.C. said total revenue rose 5.7% to £397.8m, up from £376.3m the previous year, while adjusted pre-tax profit increased from £27m in 2025.

It also announced it had invested £32.2m across its estate, including 14 refurbishment and development projects.

Refurbishments included the Bell & Crown at Strand on the Green as well as The Wellington, Waterloo; The Parcel Yard in King’s Cross Station and The Bull Hotel, Bridport. Two new central London freehold pubs added to the property portfolio are The Avalon in Clapham and The Duke of Sussex in Waterloo.

All areas of the business are doing well – food like-for-like sales increased 3.5%, drink sales rose 5.8%, and accommodation sales were up 4.9%. Fuller’s owns 32 inns as well as 315 pubs, including five in Chiswick, four in Hammersmith, one in Kew and one in Brentford.

This summer’s World Cup is expected to boost profits further, with fans gathering to watch the matches on big screens.

Fuller’s plans to invest more than £30m across its estate in the coming year, including the redevelopment of its freehold London Bridge pub, the Barrowboy and Banker, into a 26-bedroom hotel.
