About Gioilla Zordan
Gioilla Zordan graduated in Ceramic Design at Central St.Martin in 1998. She shares her time between teaching in Adult Education at Chiswick School and working in her studio, at Redlees Artists Studios in Isleworth, where they hold twice yearly Open Studios weekends.
Her passion for gardening and her love for Kew Garden inspires her shapes and soft glazes; working exclusively with porcelain, Gioilla makes functional and decorative pieces for modern living by throwing on the wheel, slip-casting and hand-building. Her recent work includes a series of LED lights, that she carves to emphasise porcelain’s soft translucency and whiteness. Gioilla is a Trustee member of London Potters.
