Hounslow council official braves local traders

Mark Frost, LB Hounslow’s Assistant Director for Transport, Parking & Environmental Strategy met traders in Turnham Green Terrace and Devonshire Rd traders yesterday afternoon to talk about how the proposals to restrict traffic to Chiswick’s popular shopping streets will affect their businesses.

With local councillors Sam Hearn, John Todd, Gabriella Giles and Joanna Biddolph present, he answered their questions about the concerns they have about the plans which were announced last week.

Hounslow Council‘s decision to restrict access to traffic on Devonshire Rd and Turnham Green Terrace to make more space for shoppers to walk around at a safe distance from each other, has had a mixed reception from residents and traders.
