Oxford & Cambridge ‘goat rave’ goes online

A ‘goat rave’ billed as “the UK’s first and foremost online goat-pun-fuelled nonsense festival” is coming to a computer screen near you.

Available from Saturday 20 June, the ten hour event features Live DJs, music, workshops, karaoke, storytelling, poetry, yoga (and even real goats!) It’s entertainment for the whole family.

The annual Oxford & Cambridge goat race was just days away when the lockdown was enforced, meaning the event had to be cancelled, so instead of a race, organisers are having a ‘goat rave’ instead.

This one day online festival is accessible on a ‘pay what you can’ basis, with profits going to Spitalfields City Farm who desperately need donations to pay for all the animal feed and vet bills, having lost their biggest annual fundraiser due to Covid-19 lockdown.
